This web site describes a program,
Technology and Education for Students and Teachers (TEST), offered through CSU Long Beach in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach. As part of a 3-unit graduate course, teachers develop workshops in STEM for youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach.

A key strategy is for teachers to use kits from the Engineering is Elementary project of the Museum of Science, Boston as a starting point.  To complement the technologies already used in the kits, teachers devise ways of using digital technologies to support their goals using apps and Internet resources running on smart phones and tablet computers.
